The street party we had on New King Street (just outside the Centre) on 08/08/09 in partnership with Somer Community Housing Trust and other Local groups was a huge success, partly due to us, but mostly down to the fantastic weather and the great cooperation from local residents in clearing all the cars and letting us transform the street in to a real community space for a day. It gave a chance for all the diverse things that are normally contained within our walls to spill out and let the community sample the wide range of activities on offer. We would like to say thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this event (Somer Housing and FaragherJones in particular but many other too) an we look forward to doing it again next year.
