Play Stations

Community Play Project
Playstations is a community project providing local children aged 5-11 with free opportunities to play and be listened to in their own community. The project is funded by Bath and NE Somerset Council and Roper Rhodes Charitable Foundation. play@percycentre.org.uk
Open Access Play Scheme
During the school holidays. Children can take part in free activities, sports and special workshops. The scheme runs from 2.00-4.00pm most afternoons at Percy Community Centre.
School Play
A chance to play, learn new games and chat to the Play Leader at St Andrews Primary School during lunch time.
Workshops
Workshops and activities take place after school and some weekends.
Play Outreach
Children can come out and play, talk to playworkers about their ideas and have fun outside (even when it is cold and raining if they want to!!!)
The Play Team
Core play staff are expected to hold or be working towards an accredited qualification in playwork or childcare and also hold a minimum of first aid, child protection, food hygiene, inclusion and a full service induction. They are also expected to have an understanding of children's play needs and a committment to providing an inclusive play environment.
